Petroleum resins

Hydrocarbon Resins C5 and C9 are products derived during the crude oil cracking process, specifically in the stage of early polymerization and distillation. It is a polymer of a relatively low molecular mass (300-3000) Hydrocarbon resins has stabilizing properties for both acids and bases. They’re usually not uses as independent materials, but with other resins as promotors. They offer a wide variety of applications and can be used to produce:

  • Holt-Melt adhesives
  • Upholstery glues
  • Parquet floor adhesives
  • Self-stick adhesives
  • Road marking paints
  • Tires
